Overview - my first ever blog

I have been fortunate to receive outstanding medical care from the professional Oncology staff of Kaiser Permanente in Portland, Oregon. I have learned a lot in the past year and want to share my knowledge to help you or someone you know.

My message to you is do all you can. I encourage you to pursue additional healing aspects, such as...

- Nutrition
- Naturopathic (probiotic supplements and accupuncture)
- Sprituality
- Family and Friends Support

See 'My Resources' for more information.

Sue,
Just wondering if you are aware of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. They offer a survivor and caregiver network where you as a survivor can be available to recently diagnosed patients to share your experience and hope. I am a volunteer in the San Francisco area and there is a Portland affiliate as well. Please visit the website for more information and to view the PSA's with Dr. Randy Pausch, who is a pancreatic cancer patient that has gained fame with his "Last Lecture" video.
