Susan Has Finished The Race

2 Timothy 4:7-8 "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge will give me on that Day and not to me only but to all who have Loved His appearing."

I mourn with you and rejoice with you at the same time....Susan is experiencing the fullness of her Savior! The rest of us will have to be patient until we see her again. I pray that you would feel the Lord's loving arms wrapped around you all in the days ahead. God's Peace- 'the other sue'

"For this world is not our home; we look forward to our city in heaven, which is yet to come." Hebrews 13:14

Praying for you, Walt, Rob, Karlie, that you know the Lord's peace and comfort in these days of sadness.

My thoughts about my sister-in-law, Sue:

Her family was her #1 priority in life and she was the best wife & mother in this world. She was an inspiration to all who knew her in her unwavering committment to her family. Through her remarkable children, you can see her caring personality, her creativity, her humor and her love of all of God's creatures every day.

Her laugh - I'll always hear that wonderful, sparkling laugh every time I think of her. She could always make you forget your worries with her laughter and true joy.

Her creativity - Sue's artistry and creative eye was remarkable. She saw beauty in items that others discarded and turned them into works of art. The one-of-a-kind cards she designed would have easily sold at the most exclusive stores in the world and she could have taken the proceeds for herself. Instead, she chose to use the card sale proceeds to buy books about nutrition, faith and healing to send to others with cancer. This remarkable selflessness was the hallmark of Sue's life.

Her beauty - her external beauty was obvious; but more importantly, it was her shining inner beauty that drew you to her.

Her strong will - Sue was not afraid to talk to others about her thoughts and opinions. Not many people have the confidence in themselves to do that. When she found out about her cancer diagnosis, she never wavered in her committment to fight the battle. Her determination and her message to "Fight the fight!" will never be forgotten.

Walter - your dedication to Sue has always been an inspiration to me. You were her rock and you never wavered in your strength and committment to Sue. I am honored to be your sister.

Love,

Julie
